This weekend I was in Dallas for my Great Aunt's 100th birthday! While we were there my mom and dad and I went to the DMA to look at some art. There was a huge variety of things. They had modern art, old art, paintings, and sculptures. I really loved looking around and checking things out. I thought it was interesting to see the contrast between the modern art section of the museum and the section with older art. In the modern section I saw more 3d pieces and simple, but creative pieces, whereas in the older section the pieces I saw were less creative but more detailed and intricate. I took a lot of pictures, but I chose those two to show the contrast between modern and older art that I saw.
